
With a background in I T, residential electrical wiring and Halloween, Miles was led down a path to be a passionate DIY prop builder combining technology with his artistry. Specializing in animatronics and escape room prop building he has harnessed technical skills to create captivating and immersive experiences and the ability to tell a story through his creations, making them not just functional but also engaging.
This hobby of building animatronics allows him to blend engineering with creativity, bringing characters to life for entertainment and educational purposes. Whether crafting props for Halloween displays, building escape rooms experiences or designing interactive animatronics, he enjoys the ingenuity and dedication to the craft enhancing the overall experience for users in escape rooms and the Home Haunter realm.
Miles is currently providing Interactive Tec building, special effects and support at Adventures of Intrigue located in St. Louis, MO.
AOI offers over 9500 square feet of open concept storybook adventures where players traverse entire themed out spaces to solve a mystery.

Miles also chaired a popular Haunted Road Rallye for over 20 years. A one-night event combining car cruising, haunted woods and houses, mystery stops and a short play to set the scene. This event has raised over 80 thousand dollars to feed needy families during Thanksgiving and Christmas. He considers this one of the OG Escape rooms that started in 1992.
